Early August aboard the Talking Fish: James and Laurie L. caught sailfish, grouper, snapper, yellowfin tuna and 2 blue marlin, 550 and 250 lbs!

Great day on the Talking Fish today! Two blue marlin released, 325 and 360 lbs. Three tuna, including a 75 pounder. And grouper!

Great day on the water! Released a blue marlin est. at 260 pounds. The fish wasn't caught that far offshore, nice short run time.

Raised 2 marlin and a sail, released a 300lb blue marlin, our third this week! Also catching grouper, some tuna and small dorado.

Bite was on in the morning and released 2 sails. Hooked up a 350 lb blue marlin and after an hour fight, gave it a clean release! Kudos to Capt Willy Vega, mates Norman and Eithel, and the angler! Wonderful day on the water.

So much fun to have a client on board who fished with me in the early 80's when I ran my 22' Boston Whaler "Sangre Azul", also out of Tamarindo. John P. came back, celebrating his wedding anniversary, with a large family group. Today we released 3 sailfish, lots of red snapper and grouper as well. Congratulations John!
