What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Port Renfrew, British Columbia for the first time?

We found a great condo complex just a 5 min drive from the launch area. Take a good supply of groceries, though there is a small store with basic essentials, veg,meats, and general groceries. A bit pricey. Also some liquor. .

Try to negotiate off season pricing, and bring some fall weather clothing / apparel that can withstand getting wet. Even if it doesn't rain the fog and spray off the water may dampen your early morning start. Id say neoprene gardening or fishing gloves are a must, you'll be holding onto wet cold aluminum as you bounce your way to the secret spots.

Go with the springroll crew! They are extremely experienced and you will not be disappointed. Nick and Chris are the best at what they do, you will catch fish and you will have a great experience. happy fishing anglers
