What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Garibaldi, Oregon for the first time?

Tillamook. Bay. Was great the first day !! Got 2 keepers. Next day was Astoria. And we killed them !! 5 keepers. And 24 keeper Dungeness. Crab What a great trip. Thanks captain rod. Reel em up. Fishing charters. Was above and beyond what we expected. !!!!

Michael changed our day to Nehalem Bay to avoid crowds at Garibaldi days and it was a perfect choice.

Fishing is great. Like anywhere else, it's called fishing, not catching. Although we did catch fish, the captain made for a fun trip. I would recommend to go crabbing as well.

Hit and miss on the fish. Good weather but a very knowledgeable guide is recommended or you could be going for a boat ride

Hit the ocean on a great day. Easy out of the bar into the ocean for fishing. Garabaldi is a very quaint harbor and town!

Bring good clothing for different weather conditions, as the weather can be completely different from one day to the next.

Where good rain gear in the event it rains. Other then that enjoy the expedience

Find a good guide, be flexible, come prepared, and understand the weather is the challenge.
