What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Huntington Beach, California for the first time?

I think early morning fishing is the best. I suggest at least half a day. The sea was very calm, hardly any waves and easy to catch the fishes. If you go deeper into the sea, you should be able to catch much larger fishes.

We went early in the morning and it was a very smooth trip. A little on the cooler side but that was fine. The sun came out at the end of our three hour trip.

Nice trip. Boat is geared more toward fishing than comfort. Overall very good experience.
