What would you recommend to anglers fishing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the first time?

Too slow and cold. Many sport fish and larger fish moves into warmer waters, further out. Spend too much time traveling than fishing.

Come during the fall when it's not so hot and the bigger fish are moving closer to shore as the water cools down.

Because it is hot and the water is warm, fishing success is spotty. Even with this, we caught fish and enjoyed the act of fishing. Sometimes it's the journey, not the destination, that matters.

Try the charters, like this one! It is a great experience! Lots of fun and you get more personal attention then on bigger boats!

Make sure and take dramamine no matter your boat experience. Wouldn't want to ruin the trip by taking a chance.
