What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Noosa, Queensland for the first time?

I know fishing is fishing and the fish are not always biting, but l took my son for a 7 hour fishing trip for $400 and between all 9 paying customers on board only 8-9 fish were caught . Would of thought with local knowledge, fish finders and experience crew knowing the area we should of caught more fish or at least more bites.

It is at a time of year when the summer fish species are heading for warmer waters & the winter species fish are still to arrive Just depends on the water temperature

Be prepared for any weather & conditions including Mother Naturte's creature activity- very little or going crazy!
