What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Green Bay, Wisconsin for the first time?

Bring rain gear regardless of the weather. If rough, you will get some spray from the waves. Catching a Musky is NOT guaranteed nor is even seeing one. They don’t call it the fish of 10,000 casts for nothing. If casting, plan on a bit of a workout and on being a little sore if you are not used to it. You will likely never catch a Musky if you don’t try, so go for it.

Like all fishing, bite can be anywhere from hot to cold. A good guide will increase your odd greatly.

Water ways and fishing opportunities galore! Green Bay is such a great little town, easy to get around and super friendly people. Affordable places to stay and eat.

Need to be extremely patient and don't go in expecting to catch a crazy amount of fish.

Try to hit the optimal fishing time. October was not it, but May is supposed to be wonderful!
