What would you recommend to anglers fishing in San Antonio, Texas for the first time?

It was just bad timing for reds. They weren't in schools. They were scattered in many different areas.

It’s slow fishing until it’s not! You need to wait until the fish are ready.

Bring lots of sunscreen and lots to drink. Be ready for the fish to turn on at a moments notice!!

Wear appropriate clothing. Get some rest before going out. Listen to your captain.

Lake Braunig is a great place for spring fishing, particularly if you're interested in fishing for red drum.

Afternoon trip might be a little warmer. Redfish are stocked in the power plant lakes and reach keeper size and smaller ones are just as fun to catch.

Use one of the Charters and fish/catch your dinner on our power station cooling lakes. The cost is about the same as a trip to the coast to fish but here you can catch and for kids that is great.
