Great time to fish. Weather is nice and comfortable so can fish in the morning or in the afternoon or both. I would bring sunscreen, sunglasses and some extra layers to wear in the early morning hours.

If you fish in January bring a wide range of clothes. It was in the 70s and dry on Saturday, then cold and rainy on Sunday. Also, if your Captain says you should buy extra bait, listen to them. If we hadn't bought extra, we may have ran out before we got to one of our best spots of the day.

It was our first time as well we had a blast!! Got on fish fast and hammered them I blew my mind on the amount of quality fish we caught we literally almost had 20lbs in just two fish we caught so many I was blown away. Definitely recommend aj guide service.

Captain AJ (not Brent who we went out with) has issued a 50% refund since the trip was cur short to 30 minutes. I am satisfied with the refund and have revised my review. Thank you for making this right captain AJ

Don't come with the expectation of catching a monster. You may get lucky but quantity is just as good as quality IMO. May want to consider March for a bass trip in Kissimmee area as this is apparently the spawn season and a shiner drifting over their bed is irresistible. Even a bad day of fishing beats a day at work. ?

Take a lot of shiners, it is a live bait lake. Have fun. Some times Mother Nature changes your plans, but a bad day on a lake is still better than any day at work. (Note) This is the first trip my captain took that he only boated 3 fish.

Contact a guide that knows the Lakes and how to fish for them. This is especially true if you have children that have not had much fishing experience. Really, Captain Jai made it a wonderful trip for my wife and I as well. There is nothing like going to a new area and catching large bass steady for 4 hours.

We were told by our captain the bass was not eatable too much Murcury . As a Kissimmee resident this is the first time I hea this from a fishing guide. If you just want to fish that’s what you will do , no keepers!

Hir Steve Neiomoeller as your guide. Best guise in central florida and Indiana. You wont say, "man I wish i didn't catch this many fish". You'll wish you had another pair of hands to give yours a rest from reeling.

Lake Togo is a well managed lake. The bass were very healthy and the population Is excellent. Even on a very Hot September day without any wind we caught plenty of fish. Watching the eagles and ospreys was fun and encouraging. And all this right here in the Orlando metro.

Get a guide who enjoys what he is doing, has the knowledge of the lake as well as knowing the fish. Having a guide/Captain with a pleasant personality is probably the most important. We were lucky to have one with all of the above
Jonathan Appiott
Ask your Fishing Guide when the best time to fish is. This way they can help you craft the perfect experience.
Todd Johnson
This is the only time I went and we didn't catch any fish and the guy was unprofessional and not effective

Take in the scenery and enjoy your day of fishing with a World Class crew! Captain Patrick will put you on fish!
Lance Sloan
Just relax and pay attention to the captain, he knows how to put you on fish and assist you on landing them!
Blaine Isch
We caught some great fish despite it being a very windy day—everyone on board left satisfied!
Gen Macdonald
We were so pleased with the trip. My girls don't dish, but we plan on taking everyone out. Thanks for a great day, Mike!
Tyler Brown
Consider a hat, sunglasses, and maybe even a sweater, because when you get out on the lake, if it’s windy, you’ll be glad you have it!
John Halak
October is hit or miss. You probably won’t catch the most or the biggest fish in Oct but it can still be good.
Annika Tomberg
Listen to the captains advice on when to fish and what bait to use for the best experience. Live bait is needed.

It's hot so pack accordingly. The bigger fish really like the shiners (live bait), you can catch them on lures too but not as many and it takes longer.

If you have kids the 2 hour trip was perfect. Go early morning as was suggested by the Captain...less hot and we were able to catch a fish less then 5 minutes from anchoring.

Just jump on boat for a quick easy trip! You will enjoy seeing the bass blow up on the live shiners!!!!!!!!!

Find a local guide that knows these bodies of waters. No matter your experience level there’s a learning curve to be had. Capt. David is the man!

If you are looking to catch largemouth bass, look for Captain Dave of David Paycheck fishing charters. He is an amazing captain and very knowledgeable about the fish.
