What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Matlacha, Florida for the first time?

If you're moderately skilled trout fishing on you with a fly rod I recommend that you try that approach with Captain Mike. I like his team approach, try it if you're not highly skilled in casting. It is fun and rewarding.

I would always recommend going to Matlacha if you want to catch a lot of fish. I wish I could moved there!

The big inshore fish are scarce this time of year - but if you enjoy C&R fishing with plenty of action it is a good trip on the water.
