What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Sevierville, Tennessee for the first time?

I am always dubious about five star ratings from everybody reviewing? However, my wife and I were in the area enjoying the typical tourist traps! "Of course I say that as a man" We did enjoy our stay and had fun and enjoyed the shows. But without a doubt, this fishing trip was the highlight of the entire trip. My wife was not excited or enthused about going. Once we met Ridge we were instantly comfortable as if we knew the young gentleman for as long as he's been growing up! Very courteous, calm and patient. The river float trip was just beautiful, had we not even caught a fish, that would have been worth the trip. I hate to admit but my wife caught most of the fish. And of course the biggest! And yes I'm still hearing about it... Lol. This trip is highly recommended, if you're a fisherman and in the area, skip the $500 helicopter ride and take this fishing trip instead. We will be back for more. Money well spent.

We had tough conditions but still caught fish. Anything that could be taken as negative by my good is no reflection on the guide just the conditions.

We did not have a good fishing day. We tried multiple methods but they just weren’t biting. TVA wasnt releasing water which may have been part of the problem because river was low.

Learn what time of license you need. We bought the wrong ones. Had to buy new ones at the ramp before leaving

Great time to hit the water. Watch the weather or be prepared for what ever comes at you.
