Rock Hudson
Water was choppy with some breeze which does not always make for good fishing conditions especially for certain target fish. That’s not the captain’s fault. First time individuals or groups should listen to and take advice from the captain even if they are experienced fishermen.

Bring sunscreen and sun clothes. Be prepared to stand for most of the trip. Tides do affect the bite, it gets slow at slack tide.

Be aware of the weather and season when planning your fishing trip. The Captain was knowledgeable about the weather and made sure we caught fish and did it safely.

First time charter fishing. Be extremely verbal about where and what you want to fish. I think you'll like the guys taking you out to catch fish. Blake was great

Captain David will put you on the fish, when nobody else can. Do yourself a favor and fish with Bow to Stern!!!

I would recommend that they book a fishing trip with Clear Lake Fishing Charters!

The gear was brutal in July. Fish the earlier the better for the summer months.
