He has over 4 decades of experience fishing and diving in the waters of New Jersey. A lifetime of fishing has taught him all the tricks necessary for catching the popular species that stalk these waters. He's also been diving in this area since 1974.
Methoden: I specialize in light tackle fishing for Stripers, Bluefish, Weakfish and Fluke. I am also enthusiastic about Fly-fishing for Stripers and Bluefish

Tough trip today with dirty water from the heavy rains. Marked a ton of fish but slow action. But from the amount of fish in the bay, it’s going to be hot fishing when the water clears.

First trip this season. Great readings on the bottom but fishing was slow. We worked hard to limit out on Stripers. Beautiful day on the bay.

Nice ocean today

Ran down the beach today for some fluke and seabass action. Fluke were short but the seabass were big. Added some nice size blue fish to the action too.

Worked hard today picking through the shorts to get some nice keepers.

West wind and an outgoing tide equals Fluke in the bay. Its all about conditions when fluking in the bay. Today we had them. Even got a 16 inch Weakfish.

Big Seabass and short Fluke

Beautiful day on the ocean today. Flat seas and light breeze. Had lots of action on short fluke and big Seabass.

We had a great time with Captain Karl. The weather did not play fair for us but that didn’t ruin our day. We caught some bluefish and flukes though unfortunately no flukes big enough to keep (just). Was a great day and would thoroughly recommend it.

Captain Karl is the perfect host. It was my 9 year old’s first time on a boat and the Captain made him feel at ease and offered an education as well. Captain Karl handled everything from baiting to filleting. He is a true gentleman and a seasoned fisherman. This was by far the best Father’s Day and will def be a tradition going forward. Thanks for making it happen Captain !
