Matt is terrific. He lets everyone fish exactly how they like to. As a woman, I have a “don’t touch my rod ever” rule. My 82 year old Uncle and my cousin are both accomplished fly fishermen in high mountain streams. My uncle really struggled to land his 3 surgeon and Matt had the insight not to intervene. I almost did but it would have deprived him the joy at landing them himself.
Matt’s a good man, knows his water and fish (Don’t just sit there. Ask him fishing, river, history questions when it gets slow). The best equipped and spacious boat I’ve ever chartered. Well done

Matt was super friendly and nowledgeable. We didn’t catch any Salmon, but no others did either, but that’s fishing! We did however catch plenty of Sturgeon… And that was a blast. I think ill return in fall sometime to try again when more salmon are running… Regardless, the weather was great and we had a great time

All is well!  Last minute opening with this charter and a full 8 hours of fishing was well coordinated.  Only issues were !.  We left one fishing area where we had two bites, and one caught legal , and other boats around us were netting fish.  Should have stayed in that area until fishing slowed.  2. All 6 lines were virtually fishing the same depth.  A variety of depths would have been better.  We still got a deal, Cost of fish per pound was +/- $125 per pound.  Nate

We had an incredible trip!! Our captain was kind, patient, and went the extra mile to make sure we caught everything we could! We will definitely be back and would definitely go with him again!!! Thank you for helping us make unforgettable memories!!!

Matt was a great captain , easy to work with very knowledgeable has a great boat and great rods and reels ,
The fishing was slow but he worked hard and did lots of traveling , we went out in the ocean and had to come back in cause a couple of us got sea sick , he was very good about that !  Overall a very good experience !
Would fish with Captain Matt again !
