I've been fishing for more than 50 years, and I got my captain's license 30 years ago. I'm a local and I know all the good spots for fishing, but more than anything, I love meeting new people and teaching them a new fishing trick or two.
Methoden: Mostly drift and cast but capable of trolling if necessary.

Captain Dean and first mate John made our first walleye fishing trip to lake erie an exceptional experience. Well worth the 9 hour drive up from north carolina! They were extremely professional and knowledgeable of the lake and the targeted species and also very family friendly. Captain Dean has 37 years experience, and knows Lake Erie like the back of his hand. My wife and I took our 3 grandchildren to celebrate my 18-year-old grandsons high school graduation. Captain Dean gave us fishing instructions and waited on us, be it a tangle in a line or netting of a fish. He supplies you with all the equipment you need. We caught about 14 Walleye’s and other species. I would highly recommend Dean to anyone seeking a good fishing experience on Lake Erie.

With a mayfly hatch the walleye had their bellies full, so the bite was slow, but Captain Dean worked very hard to get us fish. We ended up with 6 walleye that we kept and caught a bunch of short walleye. I’d definitely give Captain Dean a great review considering the rain and wind hampered the day. Captain Dean is one hell of a charter Captain!!
