I had such an awesome time on this fishing trip! Let me tell you, the crew really knew their stuff and they were just cool people to hang out with. From the moment we set foot on the boat, it was clear that these folks were total pros. They were super professional and friendly, and the fact that they spoke English made everything so easy.

So, picture this – we’re out on the water for just a morning, and we end up reeling in several Mahi, a Yellowfin tuna that was an absolute beast, and even some jacks. I mean, I’ve been on fishing trips before, but this one was something else. 100% recommended

Hemos realizado varias veces viajes diversos con GEM Charters y siempre es una experiencia excelente y variada. En esta última ocasión, contábamos con poco tiempo por lo que decidimos realizar el paseo por la Bahía de Panamá por medio día en la embarcación nueva, el Viking 46’. Tanto el capitán Alexis como el marino Oscar fueron excelentes anfitriones y se encargaron de que tuviéramos una experiencia muy divertida. Nos dedicamos a pescar dorados toda la mañana y posteriormente pudimos realizar una pequeña parada en isla Taboga para refrescarnos. ¡Un plan muy recomendado!

Our family had an incredible experience with GEM charters on our trip to the Pearl Islands. As seasoned charter travelers, we can confidently say that this was our best experience yet. The crew was accommodating and attentive, and we enjoyed exploring the islands. Our group consisted of three adults and three children, ages 12, 10, and 6. All 6 of us brought in multiple fish and enjoyed the freshly made ceviche. Captain Miguel kept an eye out for dolphins and, sure enough, we say many of them on our way back. We felt comfortable and safe at all times. We would highly recommend GEM charters for anyone seeking top-notch charter experience.

Crew was great and boat was clean and well Maintained for an older boat. I fish allot from NJ and was happy with the day. Knowledgable crew as well and sent us to a hook and cook restaurant that was amazing for our red snapper. La Fisheria at the marina.

Captain Miguel and his first mate did a great job taking the 4 of us (husband, wife, 2 teenage boys) out on the full day fishing trip and Taboga. The boat was super clean, Captain Miguel was VERY knowledgeable about the waters and Panama, and his first mate was so helpful which made our trip comfortable. We trolled the ledge and bait pods, and walked Taboga.  It was cool to experience going past the canal and being up close to the massive ships. I thought 8 hours would’ve been too much time on the water, but it was just right. Thank you for the great time!
