My husband and I had the best time on the river with Captain Jason - he knows the spots and will guide you so well. I caught a large king salmon on my second cast!  We caught two and will have some nice fish dinners. The fall colors were just starting to turn - it is so beautiful on the Manistee River. Highly recommend - we would love to go back for steelhead season!  If you book this trip with Jason, it will be like fishing with a good friend.

Awesome trip with a guide who knows the river and just loves what he does. Great conversation and and super friendly. I would highly recommend booking especially since our trip was smallmouth and his specialty is Salmon. Would love to come back and do it again!

A trip with Jason was like fishing with a buddy that has nice equipment.

Being our first time on the Muskegon River, Jason, the river guide, manuvered our adventure safely through the shallows targeting our fly n spinner fishing experiences with surprising results.  For me, I hooked a 2-3lb german brown before joan wrangled a small mouth bass.  Her first fishing trip! Whhatt!  After a few catches later we went back to the dock.  It was a great day!  ...Ed
