Captain Chris Agardy is a true local, born and raised in South Florida. The local waters have been his playground, as he's fished here since he was 4 years old. He's an avid angler, enjoying both the great inshore and offshore fishing the Sunshine State has to offer. Always happy to share his vast fishing experience with his customers, Capt. Chris is happy to teach anyone the tricks of the trade. He's also a successful fishing tournament competitor, competing in and winning many local tournaments. His latest wins were a daily win in the 2018 Silver Sailfish Derby and the 1st place for Wahoo in the 2017 Lake Worth Derby!
Methoden
Capt. Chris is a fan of light tackle fishing with live bait. Big game fishing is also one of his favorites, especially using kites. If you're a fan of jigging underwater wrecks, Capt. Chris is your man!

This time of year the wahoo take center stage along the dropoff we fish only 15 minutes after leaving the dock! High speed trolling with bonito strips has been the best option for this fishery, and our bycatch includes sailfish, mahi mahi, kingfish, barracuda, and bonito.

The Spring time fishing has sprung and the biggest blackfin tuna of the year have arrived. We have been hooking into jumbo blackens on nearly every trip right now. The best way to keep them from being eaten by sharks is to troll for them at higher speeds. While trolling for the tuna we have been catching plenty of king mackerel, sailfish, and the occasional wahoo as well. Our best luck has been trolling with planers and bonito strips for bait. This is some of the best fishing of the year right now so get out there!

Here is a 30 lb wahoo we caught while trolling dead bait on the last day of January 2023! This is our favorite kind of fishing lately because it has been so consistent compared to other species like Mahi Mahi that have been elusive lately.
