We fish weekly in Crystal River, Florida.  I booked a birthday trip to Venice LA for my husband. Not knowing who to book with, I booked our two days of fishing with two different charter companies.  There is no question that Got to Fish charters was far superior.  Jay was amazing!  He asked questions about what we wanted to fish for, explaining how it would change the layout of the day, and LISTENED.  He was so attentive and a true blessing with our elderly mother, helping her to both hook and to pull in her fish (44 in redfish), without taking over, allowing us to fish and to watch her make priceless memories. This made our day! In the end all three of us left with new personal best redfish. 
If you’re headed to Venice to fish, I would plan your trip around Captain Jay’s availability.  Simply stated,Booking with anyone else would be a mistake.

Capt Jay Winters put us on the fish despite extremely windy conditions. We caught our limit on redfish and also threw back 2 that were 33 in long and too big to keep. Great trip and can’t say enough good things about Capt Jay.

We spent two days fishing with Captain Jay Winters out of Venice La. He put us on fish and we were able to limit out both days with a few bonus species like Black Drum and Flounder. He us well versed and knowledgeable of tge local area with 26 years locally.

Cold and windy.  Boated a limit with two released over 32 inches.  Captain is a pleasure to fish with.
