Captain and crew were amazing. Took my boys ages 11 and 5. Super friendly. Showed them a good time.  Made fishing fun, easy and a great time.  I highly recommend

Ariel and his Captain Pepe were very professional and made our experience very worry free and pleasurable. We were able to catch a lot of fish and Ariel was an awesome, knowledgeable tour guide. Pepe was the hardest working Captain we’ve experienced and made our fishing as effortless as we wanted.  I highly recommend this booking. However, please know that even in the bay, this is fishing with trolling only. If your idea of bay fishing is using your own reel to catch fish you may want to put that request in ahead of time so Ariel may prepare alternate equipment. But if you are looking to kick back and be handed a rod/reel with a hooked fish this is the right place to go!!!!

The day started off with a little mix up about where to pick us up, but understandably it was a different location than normal, and the owner was trying to make our lives as easy as possible. Once the boat arrived, everything was first class. Tony and Luis welcomed us, apologized for the mix up, and got us on the water as soon as possible. Within 15 minutes of being on the boat, we had lines in the water, and less than 5 minutes later, we hit a school of Bonitos, and all 3 of us had each caught 3 fish before we headed to deeper water. Tony and Luis were pointing out things to look for, and landed us in the middle of a school of rays, a great visual experience, but we landed a really nice Jack Crevelle which was delicious. The fish continued to bite, as the chunks of the bait fish proved, but that was the end of the day, as our time was up, and we had to head back to shore. The 3 of us were very impressed with the care and cleanliness of the boat, the friendliness and desire of the captain and crew to help us catch something, and their intent to make sure that we were successful and had a good time. We will be back in PV next June for our wedding, and look forward to using the Calypso II again.

We decided to book a fishing trip last minute and Decided on Calypso because they had the best price for a 5 hour trip, $300US, you can’t beat that. Carlos and Antonio met us at the pier and were ready to go as soon as we arrived. They took us to an area that they said was having some great results. These guys knew exactly where to go to catch fish and had us reeling in within minutes. They were fun to be around, very knowledgeable and very accommodating. When our time was up the captain started heading back, on the way he noticed a spot where some birds were feeding. Him and his first mate jumped into action chasing them and casting out, ending with us reeling in a few more! We got an extra 30 minutes fishing and a few extra fish to take home. Once we returned to the pier, they cleaning the fish quickly and sent us on our way. Great guys!
I would highly recommend Calypso for your fishing trip and I would definitely recommend that you request Carlos and Antonio. I will definitely be using them when I visit again. Thanks again guys!

It was so much fun. Caught some bonitas and spanish mackerel. Crew was awesome, they made cervice from our catch. Very delicious.
