Be prepared for cold weather. I was surprised that it was 32 degrees the morning that we went out. It did warm up to 52 or so but I can honestly say that I have never experienced this kind of weather in Florida prior to this weekend!

Cold fronts change up the fishing habits but we still had bites and landed a big wahoo despite the high wind, very choppy water. Low 50s was “cold” to fish in but it was a great time regardless.

We hit high tide and a strong northern wind with the high only being 54. It was very cold and once the tide came in the fish stopped biting. The cold didn't seem to affect the fish as much as the really high tide did.
