Fishing is a gamble. We were very lucky that we caught some fish, but we did catch them towards the end of our trip We are from Washington state and when they said it was going to be warm out on the water I had no idea that it could be as hot as it was. We caught our limit on red snapper and had a great time. A clear sunny day and small waves added to the trip.

Look for trout and easy catches in the bay if the currents are too strong.

Unless you’re experienced, don’t worry about the type of fish. You’ll have a good time regardless. Get Dramamine if you tend to get motion sickness. You’re very likely to see dolphins fairly close to the boat.

I would suggest not targeting a specific species but enjoy the experience of whatever is biting on your particular day.

Bring a lunch, only because you might fall in love and want to extend your hours like we did.

Just breath don’t eat anything before heading out if you get sick easy stay calm even in not so good waters the captain knows what there doing

Dont get your hopes up too high because you never know how fishing is going to go. But it will be worth the wait!
