Don't expect to go out with the Captain you talked to on the phone or that you messaged with. In Cabo, the captain assigns an open boat for you to go out with. Captain was qualified and knowledgeable, just not the advertised Captain.

Book these guys!! We think depending on the age of the children x the behavior of the children it would definitely be appropriate but it is not a trip I personally would bring my toddler or baby on. If you have food allergies or are picky, bring a cooler with snacks and drinks that you like - we did ;-)

If you have any virgin anglers, be sure to give them Dremamine the night before and the morning of. The Pacific side is pretty rough.

If fished here in March and October on several occasions and October has always been a better experience.

Do your research on what company to charter. There are good ones and not so good. Quality makes for a better trip and experience

Book with Juan & Freddy, and catch some fish, other boats had caught nothing and we caught 2 sail fish and 2 marlin in a matter of a few hours. We were so wore out with all the action we were ready to dock early. Remember it’s called fishing not catching. But with the right caption and crew you are more likely to catch some nice fish. We had a great time. Book the right crew, We had many choices but so glad we booked with Juan & Freddy.

Prior to your trip ask the hotel about storing your catch if you plan to keep the meat.

Make sure you bring your own lunch and some additional drinks if you’re going on an 8 hour charter. Ask for the crew to get more ice and bait if it’s supposed to be included. There c old be some missed opportunities. Also bring a positive mind set and patience if you want to catch one of the beautiful marlin. What an amazing species.

These guys will get you on the fish!! Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We had caught 4 trophy marlin within a couple of hours.

We recommend the early option -the fishing were taking a siesta by afternoon.

I would recommend that you learn enough Spanish to communicate well enough to understand what's going on. I speak very little Spanish and was dependent upon a translator during my trip- which proved costly.

Book the 8 hour trip. You never know when that bucket list fish will swallow that hook. Blue Tail ll did not disappoint

Much calmer waters than I expected. 4-5' in 13 second swells are nothing. Really really hot in August so stay in the shade.
