I recommend making sure you know the weather because high 80’s and muggy weather can be tough on the body. Make sure you have the appropriate clothes and plenty of water.

Bring a jacket. It warmed up as the morning progressed. But it was a bit chilly at 7am when the fishing tour started.

Caught a lot of trout. Used piggy perch. Tried for some redfish but they weren’t biting, at least not for that bait.

Lots of charter option in Port Aransas. Not a bad rid to the fishing area from the Port.

Think anytime is a good time if being on the water, enjoying fellowship, is important to you. Catching only represents %10 of the experience.

Great Fishing and great town. Easy to get to the docks with a ton of accommodations and restaurants/bars!

It's gonna be warm, but be patient, the fish will come. You do need the right captain to get you there.
