May can be windy, I’d recommend booking with a bigger boat. The Alondra III was a hell of a boat that we felt very safe and comfortable on all day long.

Take Dramamine 30 minutes prior to leaving. We got seasick during our trip which was no fault on the crew. They were very understanding and helpful. We still ended up catching a lot of fish and they made fillets for us to take back to our resort where the chef cooked it! Very cool experience. For what we paid, the boat was probably very reasonable, but in the future we might like a little roomier boat. Our crew was awesome!

Take some Dramamine if you think you may possibly get seasick. Even on a tame day like we experienced today we were rolling in 6-10ft swells all day which can take its toll on you. Also wear a sun shirt and wear plenty of sunscreen!

Just know the sea is often pretty rough. Little children may not enjoy that part. My older teen was OK with it. You know what your children can handle. Something to consider. I highly recommend. Captain and first mate were great.

The only thing about these boats is that they're smaller than the big fishing charters. If it's windy (but not so windy that the trip needs to be cancelled), the boat can rock a bit if you stop/slow down to do bottom fishing. That might affect people who are prone to motion sickness.

Went out to try and catch bill fish. Sorry to say no bill fish. But we did take in dorado, black fin tuna, barracuda, bonito, grouper, snapper, and a nice wahoo. All in all it was a good day fishing.

We had a great time with El Capitan. The fish don’t cooperate, but we managed to get a huge barracuda and a mahi mahi. I highly recommend Alondra III. The captain worked his but off for us this trip. The ceviche at the end was the best I’ve ever had!

We went out with Black Moon fishing and had a blast the crew kept us entertained. We had probably 10 misses while trolling but we able to catch a very nice Wahoo in the end. Would definitely recommend and fish with them again

The captain was a great communicator. They accommodated our cruise times and met us at the dock. Boat was well organized and equipped. The mate, Miguel, was very skilled and kept fresh bait on while we trolled. We hooked one sailfish and caught three mahi mahi. Captain shared with us the name of a restaurant, Alberto’s, that made ceviche and tacos out of our mahi mahi. Great experience. Only downside was diesel fumes.
