Captain Brannen took us out for the half day charter and we had a blast. We caught lots of Koho and Chinook salmon. The captain was very knowledgeable of the area as well as the wildlife and was great to hangout with for the afternoon. Very personable. The wind was up so the water was a bit rough but his boat handled it very well. We will definitely be booking again with Getter Done Charters next time I'm out!

Captain Brannen was very knowledgable about all the creatures around and all the rules and regulations. He made everyone on board feel comfortable and safe. We enjoyed the day and could take home enough salmon and shrimp to feed us for days. An absolute highlight was a pod of orcas that came by while we were out there. We also saw sea lions and porpoises from the boat. This is an adventure you don't want to miss.

Turks was great and he obviously loves what he does. The trip was perfect for two seniors with limited fishing experience. We were well advised every step of the way. The lovely salmon we brought home was the icing on the cake.

We had an amazing time. We are fortunate to fish all around the world and are fortunate to have spent time fishing with Brannen! Born and raised in Nanaimo, and his lifetime of experience shows in the catch and in his ability to make you want to come back to his hometown and fish again. Salmon, Dungeness Crab and Prawns, what else could you ask for. We will absolutely fish with Getter Done Charters and Brannen again soon!

Had an awesome late November day on the water with Brannen. He knows what he’s doing. We caught quite a few koho and chinook,and pulled up a ton of crab too. I’m coming back in the summer and definitely calling Getter Done again!

Our trip with Brannen was great. We had 4 hours in the morning and dropped our pots in about 45 minutes and fished for 2-3 hours. We were on fish right away and caught at least 15 fish with 1 big keeper king salmon - about 12 pounds. We also limited on crab - all in mid November.

Michael is a fantastic captain, a really nice guy and as a lifelong fisherman he knows how to put you on fish!

We took our 8 year old and 5 year old fishing with Captain Brannen and it was such a lovely adventure. He was great with the kids, very knowledgeable. We all had a wonderful time.

My husband and I took our 3 sons fishing with captain Turk. He was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with my 3 boys. My boys told us it was the highlight of their trip.

Captain Blake and his boat provided all we could have hoped for! The kids had fun, we all learned a bit and had a beautiful morning. So many hits we lost count, released plenty of Pink, came home with 1 Chinook, 1 Coho, 1 Pink. Thank you Captain Blake!

What a great introduction to salmon fishing on the island! We were impressed at how quickly we found the fish and kept on catching! In 4 hours we caught over 20 salmon. Captain Mike and son Cody are a great team - very attentive and knowledgeable and lots of laughs! Would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Did a half day trip with Brennan on our honeymoon. One of the highlights of our trip for sure. Caught a bunch of fish and crabs even though it was later in the day.

Charter boat is conveniently located right next to the Departure Bay ferry terminal with ample parking. Captain Turk has excellent knowledge of the area and where the salmon are. Although we caught 12 salmon they were either too small, too big or wild chinook which had to be put back. Captain Turk is a great story teller and we still enjoyed our time. Overall we had a great experience with Reel Time charters and would recommend them.

10/10 would recommend this trip to anyone. We set crab and shrimp pots in the morning and we were into fish almost immediately. The captain and his crew tailored our trip exactly to our specifications and we had a great day on the water. We reeled in some 25 ish fish between salmon and cod- our arms were sore by the end of the day!

My sister and I enjoyed our half day trip with Captain Mike and crew member Pat. Both worked hard to put us on the 8 salmon that we caught. Enjoyed the delicious crabs and prawns we trapped that day too.

Great day with Captain Andrew. We caught chinook, coho, and pink salmon on a four-hour tour. He really knew where to find them, and we noticed lots of other boats circling us once we started hitting, trying to cheat off our captain's local knowledge. And he has some great stories to tell.

Great trip with Turk out of Nanaimo, with my mother and nephew in tow - neither of whom have very much experience fishing for salmon in tidal waters. Captain was very patient with their learning curve, and guided us to a limit of Chinook including 3 over 70cm. A couple of Coho as bonuses as well. Exceeded my expectations for the catch on such a short outing!
