Captain Miller gave us a first class trip with an excellent boat and equipment, detailed knowledge about the lake, and terrific conversation. I've tried to get my daughter into fishing before, but this is the first time she really caught some fish and told me several times on the way home how much fun she had and how much she wanted to go again. Thank you Gilbert. We'll be calling you again soon!

I went fishing for 5 hours with Captain Gilbert Miller on a beautiful late March morning at Joe Pool Lake. For the first hour we had a warmup, and I caught 10 little foot-long white bass. Then for the next 4 hours we got down to business and moved around to different parts of the lake, and I fished for largemouth bass. In those last 4 hours I never got so much as a bite. Gilbert is a wonderful man and fun to talk to. But from what I saw, all Texas has is little fish.

Captain Miller was able to put my buddy on the largest bass of his life for his bachelor party! With not great conditions in forecast, captain miller was great with communication and put his experience and skill to the test to make a dream come true!

My 12 yr old son had the time of his life fishing today with Gilbert. I had just as much fun. Top of line boat and equipment/electronics. Gilbert is beyond a pro/expert and a great person. We look forward to booking many more trips in the future. Gilbert taught us so much about Bass fishing. The highlight of the day was when my son caught the biggest Bass of his life at 5.44 Pounds. Great day on lake Grapevine with Captain Gilbert! A bit slow fishing, bit great boat, gear and Captain!

Gilbert picked me up at my hotel. We fished at the lake closest to the hotel, and he did everything to find us fish. While we never found a honey hole, he taught me how to bass fish, and we caught fish! It was amazing.

Gilbert Miller is a great person and excellent fishing guide too. We worked the lake for the fish though they were not biting for anyone on our day. We’ll definitely book with him again!
