Dusty is great! Very friendly and fun to spend the day with. We booked a full day and had a great time. His boat is spacious and very safe. Fishing was a bit slow but he worked hard to make sure we caught some pike and bass. If you’re wondering about his custom rods they are awesome! Shane and Dee Thomas.

The weather was perfect and the fish were biting. Dusty’s custom rods are very light and easy to cast even for inexperienced anglers. When Dusty learned my husband had not caught any fish on our prior trips, he stayed by his side coaching him until he caught one.

Captain Dusty was extremely professional his equipment was top notch and boat ran perfect. He landed us on nice fish every spot. The two things that stood out to me about this trip was his ability to teach my son. And his knowledge of fish conservation that I will take with me in all our future trips hopefully soon with this this master Minnetonka guide. Thanks!

This was an outstanding experience. Captain Dusty is great. He worked hard on putting on fish, gave us helpful suggestions and is very knowledgeable.

It was a warm day, but we pretty much forgot about it, because we were having so much fun. Captain Dusty was great with three teenagers, who kind of listened, and needed repeated prompting. He should have been a high school teacher. He has great patience and knowledge.

Dusty was great. He took us to 10 spots on the Lake, and he left for another spot if there were no fish. He also was a very good and patient instructor for novice fishers. We all caught fish and got photos to prove it. I will book Dusty again when I come back here.

I come to Minnesota for a volleyball tournament for my granddaughter always heard about the great fisheries here so decided to give it a shot got hooked up D&h custom rods and tackle went out with Jeff had a super time you know it’s going to be fun when the first place first cast you catch a nice largemouth. We did a half day trip with Captain Dusty. Dusty was on time and prepared with spots already picked for us to try. If we weren't nailing the fish at a spot we wouldn't waste time and we would move to another spot. He taught us a new technique and was very patient with my son as he explained how and why we were using that technique. Dusty was a lot of fun to be around and knew the lake well. I would highly recommend hand his guide service.
