Beautiful day for fishing. We were prepared it was going to be slow go with the fishing today, thank you for your transparency Captain Chris. We did catch some trout which was awesome. This Captain is top notch😊 it has been a pleasure snd wish you all well. See you in the spring😊

Had a great time on the water with Capt. Chris & his mate Brooks. The morning of, captain informed us that the bite was not looking hot on the morning charter but regardless of the not so great bite we really enjoyed the entire charter. Gear was top notch, fishing knowledge was top notch. We had 12 lines out at multiple points at every depth so everything was being done to catch fish. All in all great time. We ended up catching a king, a steelhead and a couple juveniles

Being end of season, didn’t know what to expect but they put us on fish early. Was rough out and had to cut trip short but would definitely recommend and would book again with Captain Chris.

Chris and Kevin made it a great experience! Fish were mostly biting early on that day, so the crew made sure we had lines in the water within 10 minutes of leaving the dock. My 11-year-old son had a blast, and caught the biggest fish of the day! Captain and mate were kind, helpful and personable throughout the trip. Would definitely recommend.

We had five people on a 5 hr. trip with Captain Chris and first mate Kevin. Captain Chris and Kevin were both great. They did everything they could to make our trip enjoyable and worked hard to get us on some fish. Our whole group would highly recommend On the Fly charters and Captain Chris! We would absolutely go again if back in Grand Haven.

This was our second trip with on the fly, they are the best charter in Grand Haven. We come here every summer for a week vacation, and now On the Fly is part of our yearly tradition. We will never go with anyone else!

These guys were awesome!! Not only super personable but really knowledgeable about what they were doing. We had some rough waves and they made us as comfortable as they could. Constantly changing out different lures to give us the best chance they could at fish. They guided us when we reeled them in to give us the best chances of success. Highly recommend these guys.

Chris and Kevin were exceptional. My friends from NY drove to West Michigan for some much anticipated fishing and we’re not disappointed. The boat was very well equipped and a pleasure to ride. We caught several large fish and had an absolute blast. We will be back! Thank you, Tom Bob and Marty.

Chris and Kevin made this day one to remember. The weather was perfect and so was the boat. Equipped with the best gear “On the Fly” is tournament ready and we reaped the benefits. Highly recommended - we will be back.

Captain Chris and Kevin know how to get it done. The bite was slow but with effort and a few pro grade change ups we landed some monsters! Very knowledgeable crew got us on the fish even when they are scattered and a little picky. Great time!

Was an Awesome experience, Chris is a Great Captain with lots of knowledge on fishing Lake Michigan and fishing in general. I Highly recommend him for your next fishing trip.

My party has taken many charters here in the area and we all came to the consensus that On the Fly was our favorite. The crew was so enjoyable — you don’t feel like “this is their job” and even Chris said it, they just enjoy doing this. We felt like we were simply out on an evening cruise with close friends, which made the experience awesome. We caught some HUGE salmon and a trout. Overall great experience and will be a returning customer.

Captain Chris snd Dan were an amazing team. I had never been on a charter on Lake Michigan and we got two huge King Salmon. My husband and I had a great time this am.

One of the best fishing charters I’ve ever been on. Captain Mike took a crummy day with bad weather and turned it into a great experience. Caught 8-9 fish total and had an amazing time. 10/10 would recommend booking this charter, one of the nicest, most knowledgeable guys i’ve met.

Captain Chris and Kevin took great care of us and gave my son a great Birthday and first time on a charter boat. He caught all five of the King Salmon including a 22lb. Thank you Captain Chris and Kevin!

cannot give high enough praise to Captain Chris and first mate Dan! we had so much fun. these guys KNOW the water and were so patient and so kind to me and my family. what an experience it was. we came away with 11 (YES, 11!!) fish, so we ALL had an opportunity to do some reeling and much laughing. i would give 10 Stars if I could. it was a great day! THANK YOU IS NOT ENOUGH!!

Great outing with On the Fly charters. The crew was great to work with and chat with. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good fishing experience on Lake Michigan.
