Captain Gary was great. Perfect boat, fishing equipment and bait. He took us to many spots and really worked hard to find fish. It was just a bad windy day and the fish didn’t want to cooperate. We still had a blast.

We had a great time today (3/28/2024), Captain Gary grew up around here and knows all the spots, we all caught fish (some too big, some too small, more than enough for dinner!) and had a great time. The teens caught the biggest and had fun without the phones for once. Capt Gary suggested Bayport Inn to cook our fish for dinner and they did such a great job; fried, broiled and blackened it was all delicious. We are excited to come back!

Tough windy weather. However, captain Gary put us on large snook and redfish. We had a blast. I highly recommend booking with this captain!

The captain was very friendly and gentle and tried everything to get us on some fish. Sadly the conditions weren't so good and we only got a few hits, but still one fish for the cooler. He really tried everything for us! Overall it was a very nice experience and we would really recommend this trip.

I'm leaving a good review here because Capt Gary communicated really well, went out before our scheduled time and let me know before we left that it was going to be a tough day and he suggested canceling. I really appreciated this and will definitely book again and hope for a better weather day.

Gary made no promises but he delivered!! we caught many fish, sheepshead, redfish,black drum and trout the many were the legal size Gary’s knowledge and enthusiasm was top notched You can tell Gary really enjoys the sport Would highly recommend Gary for beginner and for experience angler alike

Had a good day on the water with captain Chico! Conditions were really tough as we were fishing following the coldest weather in 20 years and he really worked to put us on fish. He did a good job explaining what we were doing and why and I learned a lot which was my main goal. Totally recommend going out with him, just pray for good weather! Lol! I’m definitely going to book another charter with him in the future just waiting for the better time of the year

Bought this charter as a gift to my Dad while visiting him for Christmas. Captain was great and very informative while relaying info about the tides prior to the trip, which allowed for us to catching alot of fish. Highly recommend and will definitely be using his services during future visits!

We had an absolute blast with Captain Francisco! Took our reservation last minute, put us on fish right away, and I had just as much fun with him piloting through the mangroves. Really cares about his clients and it shows! Couldn't recommend Captain Francisco Garcia with Rock Island charters enough! We cannot wait to be on the water with him again!

We went at one of the worst times, with midsummer full moon high tide, weekend boat traffic, high heat, etc. and Capt Gary worked his butt off to put us into fish.

I highly recommend this charter. The Captain was extremely nice and friendly. He took us to quite a few spots and we caught a good number of fish. He's very knowledgeable in fishing and the waterways. He was just as happy as we were catching the fish. He will help you in every way possible to enjoy the day. Definitely going out again in the future.

We have went out with Francisco several times. It is a ton of fun and we always come back with fish!

Good trip! Bite was slow at first Captain Gary worked hard to change positions to where we got on fish. All in all it was a good day of fishing. Had fun and would recommend Captain Gary for future trips!

My seven year old autistic grandson is only in town for a week but we really wanted to go fishing. The weather was horrible…really high winds. We really wanted to go though. The Captain really worked to put my grandson on some fish. He had the time of his life. Thank you for going above and beyond to make my grandson’s day.
