The Captain and deckhand were very helpful, professional, friendly, and provided the expertise that enabled us to catch our limit. We got home in time for me to cook a great meal. Several more great meals to come.

Another great day out. Only a half day specifically for my nephew to catch some fish. Captain Justin said the halibut were biting and immediately put us on the fish with 2 keepers on the first drift. Joe was also amazing on the deck and we caught our daily limits early including a couple of 20 pounders. A half day well spent. Thanks again Justin and Joe. Hope it won’t be too long til we see you again.

My son and I had the best time today. The fishing was great, the scenery around the bay… spectacular and best of all, both captain and crew were fantastic! We kept moving as needed to find fish and we laughed the entire time. We learned a lot about the area and brought home so much fish!! We’d never caught halibut before so that was a lot of fun and you cannot beat the price. The boat is very well maintained and extremely comfortable. Hit them up for a trip!!

Large, comfortable, enclosed cabin with comfortable furniture. The crew persisted until we got our limit.

Had a blast fishing with Cpt Justin and Joe on their beautiful boat. Started out just behind Alcatraz and hooked up with some nice Halibut. Switched spots and got on em again plus caught some stripers in the process. Justin was a great captain and very informative and the same goes for Joe. They had obviously worked together and did so well. When we got back to dock Joe cleaned and filleted the fish and gave great ideas for meals. Couldn't have had a better time. Thanks guys!

We picked the Codfsther to take our son and his friends out for a birthday fishing trip and we all had a great time. The captain did everything the could find the good spots for us and as a result Everyone caught their limit of halibut on a day when very few other boats did so. The boat itself was fantastic, with plenty of room to fish and a comfortable spot to be inside when needed. We will definitely look to book another trip soon!

The boat is comfortable, the captain and his crew know the water very well. Josh the deckhand really knows how to fish - I learnt a very effective halibut rig from him.

Captain Justin and deckhand Joe were top notch in their experience of the fishing grounds and most importantly in their knowledge of fishing technique. We were into Halibut in the first 15 minutes and continued to have luck pretty much throughout the day. We even ended with a lightning fast 7 butts in 15 minutes without missing one. Great crew and equipment. Joe and Justin were always on top of watching rods and making sure baits weren’t just sitting there tangled up. Caught my limit and a couple more.

Excellent full day on the water fishing for rockfish and Dungeness crab! Took home way ore then my family can eat! Captain Justin and his first mate, Joe are awesome. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. Very good day had by all! Highly recommend.

My dad, my son, and I had an amazing adventure on the Codfather. Justin and Joe’s expertise and knowledge of the area was outstanding. They made the trip remarkable as much as it was successful. All the gear and instruction was provided along with help and guidance in the right ways. They are the definition of top notch in my book, thank you.
