Left Hudson’s dock at 10:00 AM in Tim’s 30 footer on a beautiful, warm day and headed out to the wreck of the General Gordon in Port Royal Sound. We had good success with Black Sea bass, Black Sheepshead, a few Bluefish and 2 Sea Trout. No sharks this early. Tim is a great host and worked incessantly (baiting hooks, netting fish and removing hooks while also monitoring our location with ultrasound, adjusting position when necessary) to make this a great fishing trip! He did all this without a mate to help him!

Tim filleted all the edible catch and told us that the restaurant right at his dock would cook up the fish for us. So we went to the outdoor bar and they grilled and fried up out catch to perfection.

Capt Tim is an ace. A 4 hour trip can be challenging for a one man crew but Tim nailed it. After a short boat ride Tim quickly filled the bait wells with live bait and we had our first bull red and a finetooth shark within 2 minutes of having lines in the water. When the bite slowed, Tim pulled the anchor and relocated putting us back on the fish within minutes. He kept us on the fish the entire trip.  I will definitely make it a point to book another trip with Capt Tim the next time I’m in Hilton Head.

- Captain Tim and his boat are Absolutely first class. Cannot say enough about Captain Tim - awesome skipper, awesome fishing captain, hardest working man in the industry, unbelievably positive and fun attitude…even if you didn’t catch a single fish all day you’ll have fun simply bc Captain Tim is simply awesome

- The Fishing: you’re going to catch a mountain of fish - period - full stop. Obviously, like any charter, this is a dialogue between your crew and Captain Tim (what’s running, what the crew is interested in fishing for, etc). For us: we asked to go out and battle some fish and Captain delivered just that (King Mackercal, Cobia by the truck load, and sharks).

- The boat + Gear: Everything was top top notch. Captain Tims boat is brand new and really really well maintained. Obviously his fishing gear is exceptional.

I cannot recommend this Charter enough. We will be fishing with Captain Tim again and again in the future.

Tim is an amazing captain and was great with my boys (2 and 6). We left the dock around 7:30 to get ahead of the rest of the “fleet”. We were able to obtain live bait and hit the first fishing spot before 8am! We caught a large bonnet head shark, relatively large Crevalle jack, a small pacific shark, midsize sting ray, and several blue fish. I think in total we hit four spots with varying results. Well worth the money for the experience. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in the area.  Thank you Tim!!

Had an absolute blast with Captain Tim fighting some bull reds. The weather was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Already planning our next trip back!
