Captain Adil was very accommodating and friendly the second I booked this trip for my honeymoon. As a New Yorker, I was a little worried booking something like this, but reading reviews and looking at some of the catches of the past I was sold.

The trip was originally set for a Saturday, but Adil reached out and said the weather wasn’t looking so good and asked if we could go Sunday. We had no other excursions booked so I said that was fine.
I was picked up at my hotel and had a very nice conversation on our way to the boat.

I met my captain and mate for the day and both of them knew more than enough English to make the day great. They told me it would be about a 2 hour steam to the fishing grounds, and we trolled for Marlin on our way out. Marlin unfortunately aren’t really in season in October, so I didn’t get my hopes up. Bernard and Mike told me we would be looking for the birds so I waited and eventually fell asleep on the way out.

Mike woke me up with a tap on the shoulder and I saw flocks of birds diving into the water…. I knew it was as about to go down. Within minutes the bite was on. We landed 15 Yellowfin Tuna, 1 Bonita, and 1 really nice sized Wahoo. There was a point in the trip when I actually thought my arms were going to give out… that’s how much action there was. Our last Tuna was unfortunately eaten by a shark on its way up, and we went back to trolling before heading back in. We just barely missed the one marlin of the day, but I wasn’t angry at all.

Overall… was the best trip I’ve ever been on and would recommend this crew to anyone!

The crew was nice, helped with everything. We’re the beginners, so needed more help, than experienced customers. Catches a lot of fish, not as big as we expected, but this is a question of luck

Was picked up from Hotel and taken to Coin De Mere and boarded the boat for a half day trip, and luckily i was the only guest so had all rods to myself. Being winter time there was a swell, so was warded to take see sick tablets before hand which definitely helped me. The crew were always on the look out for signs and trying different lures and eventually we hit into a shoal of SkipJack Tuna and had 2 on the go at once, so was fast and furious then a break for an hour then fast and furious again. Ended up with 7 Skipjacks for around 50lb weight with another 3 being lost near the boat.

We had a fantastic day out in July (winter!), catching 46 skip jacks, 4 yellow fin, and seeing whales up close. Adil, captain and deck hand Michael were all very professional, and good people. I would highly recommend.

Halfday with bernard and michael, cool chaps 👍🏻 wish for bigger fish but that is fishing you know! Excellent day out for us, they really know their job and went the extra mile for us to catch something, i will deff be returning for marlin season!
Owner is very nice and caters to your every need, we had a free transfer from hotel to boat and back. Knowledgeable and down to earth guys!
