We had to push the trip one day out due to extreme weather. It rained and flooded and had has force winds for 3 days including our scheduled trip date Capt Kurt called three days ahead and let me know he had the following day left open and so we rescheduled. It’s was a slow start to the day after that severe of a storm a Capt can’t rely on previous fish location data. The harbour was chocolate milk brown that extended a half mile out into the lake. We trolled for a couple hrs with no luck out on the fringe of the murky water and we were then hit with another small squall. The wind with this storm shifted the muddy water opening up a seam of clear water at 10’ deep about 200 yards off shore Capt Kurt got us into some nice brown trout there there I think we boated 5 and released one Atlantic salmon. After that the clouds parted and the sun came out with force so we ventured back out to 50’-75’ of water into a band that was in between not super clean and not super muddy.. just a little murky there we got into some pockets of decent lake trout and then landed the first king salmon. Each pocket produced bigger and bigger fish and more than once we were doubled and tripled up. This was me my wife and two young sons.  Tammy the captains wife grabbed a chair for my 8yr old son to sit in and fight a big laker while I was also landing one on the other side of the boat. As we started to bring in the gear starting with the shallow runners on planer boards out to the sides we hooked up on the last two fish of the day. Me and my wife side by by side fighting the two biggest fish of the day a 17.5lb king and a 16lb laker for my wife. It was an awesome day couldn’t have planned it out better. Thank you Capt Kurt and Tammy it was a fantastic trip and we look forward to booking with you guys again.

If you want an expert charter experience, look no further than Captain Kurt! We booked a half-day charter with Kurt and his wife Tammy, who were both extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind! We caught the maximum allowable number of fish on our trip, including several king salmon (and a whopping 25lb 65 incher), a coho salmon, and many large rainbow trout. We had fish on multiple rigs at once, which made for an especially exciting time, and we managed to reel them all in! It was an unforgettable afternoon, and I can’t recommend Stalker Charters enough!

My group set out for a 7-hour charter with Captain Kurt and had a great time. The weather was fantastic and so was the fishing. Kurt and Tammy were extremely personable and easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to catching fish. I highly recommend this charter for any fisherman of any experience level, local or traveling, you can’t go wrong with Captain Kurt! Look forward to many more voyages in the future.

This was my family’s first time fishing Lake Ontario, and our third time chartering. The boat was clean, organized, and the tackle well maintained. Cap Kurt knew exactly where the fish were, and filled our quota with time to spare. Tammy, his first mate (and Mrs) was incredibly helpful, and it was obvious she enjoyed helping both of our kids. I don’t think I could have picked a better charter. Highly recommended.
