I booked an inshore 4 hour morning trip, Bill was more than willing to take us but suggested going offshore due to low tide and calm waters. I was up for just about anything and we went 18.2 miles off shore and had a great time. Just like any time I’ve ever gone fishing, I wish I could have caught more and larger fish, but we caught plenty. From the second we dropped our lines till the time came to head back. The captain was full of stories and information. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

Capt Bill came prepared.  The weather looked a little iffy so he brought tackle for inland fishing as well as offshore fishing. He brought different types of bait to target different species of fish. He had waterproof jackets available in case it rained (which, unfortunately, it did).  Since I had never gone offshore fishing or fished in salt marshes, he demonstrated techniques before he handed the rod over to me. He then patiently coached me until I got the hang of it.  He was very knowledgeable about fish, what they like, how they bite, how the tide affects their behavior, etc, as well as various aspects of boats and ships. I felt very well taken care of during this trip.  Capt Bill’s friendly, well behaved dog, Stryker, was an added bonus on the boat. The next time I’m in Jacksonville, I will be calling Capt Bill to go fishing again.

We booked with captain Bill based on reviews from others, I messaged captain Bill first to let him know my son wanted to go fishing for his birthday and bring some friends to ensure this would be a kid friendly venture.

The weather was a little chilly (expected in January) but the boys caught some small reds and sheepshead. 

Aside from being heckled in poor taste by FWC at the pier, the trip definitely provided some core memories for these little dudes and Captain Bill put them on the fish.

Would definitely recommend to family and friends to book with him and would book again in the future!

We took a 4 hour Am inland trip on St John’s River. It was low tide, and Captain Bill got us on the fish. He took the time to give us fishing tips and tricks and soon we were landing them in the boat. Thank you Captain Bill for a fun day with great conversations. We will be having some delicious fish dinners this week. I will be calling you again!

We went on a half day inshore trip with Captain Bill on 6-2 (Corey & Dan). Didn’t land any fish, but hooked two and they spit hooks before we got them in the boat. Even with not landing any fish, I would definitely recommend this charter. Captain Bill has a great, very clean boat and knows his stuff. I am a lake/river bass fisherman and he taught me the ways of ocean fishing. Throughout the trip he would point out interesting point of interests and was a great guide!

Captain Bill’s commentary during the trip is worth the cost itself!! He is very personable and makes the trip great. He will answer any question you may have about the boat, waterways and fishing in this area.

Captain Bill put us on every spot he knew but as luck would have it the fish we not very cooperative today. That was ok with us as the journey was great. Captain Bill is one of a kind, several other Captains don’t have the same mindset. If you want a few great hours on the water fishing, look no further.

If you want a great boat and great Captain for your adventures, don’t go any further, book Captain Bill. Did I mention that there is a 300 sitting in the aft of his boat?! It kicks some a**!!!!! You will not be disappointed!!

We can’t wait until we have a return visit and will book Captain Bill without hesitation!!! Please do the same.
