Waterproof Charters Inc runs exciting offshore fishing adventures that are available to everyone! Come and feel like a true angler for a day or show off your fish-catching skills and have some serious fun. The charter is run by Captain Tim Garrett who has over 25 years of experience in the charter and commercial fishing in the Daytona Beach area.
You will fish aboard the Waterproof, which is a 40 foot custom built Number 1 boat that specializes in offshore trolling and bottom fishing. The vessel is safe and fast, being powered by a 650 HP John Deere engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 18 knots. It comes equipped with the latest navigational and fishing equipment on board, as well as all the safety features recommended by the USCG.
You will enjoy a large cockpit area, a spacious cabin with a restroom, a fighting chair and a fly bridge perfect for sightseeing. Captain Tim will provide you with all the fishing equipment you’ll need, including live baits. You will also have a first mate who’ll work tirelessly to provide a first class experience so please tip him generously.
Waterproof Charters Inc will take you fishing in the offshore waters for large game fish and bottom feeders. You can catch big Gag Groupers, Snappers, Wahoo, Sailfish, Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi and King Mackerel. Other species that populate these waters may also bite your hook, so expect a surprise here and there.
A fish cleaning service is available at an additional charge once you get back to the dock, and if you don’t want to keep the fish, the crew will be happy to relieve you of it. A fish mounting service is also available, so ask the captain if you are interested.
