Harry’s Guide Service is a charter that takes fun and fishing very seriously, with Captain Harry Arthur who has been fishing the Texas and Louisiana waters of the Gulf of Mexico for over 30 years. He is an avid fisherman who specializes in artificial lure fishing. Having aquired so much experience he knows exactly which fish bites which lure. He strives to make every guest’s trip an adventure to be remembered for life and will instruct guests on the best ways to catch fish. He will unselfishly share his knowledge and provide the lured to catch a variety of fish species.

You will fish aboard his 25 foot JH Outlaw center console boat, which was originally built in 2021 and has a capacity for 4 guests. It is powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine which makes it super fast and efficient on the water. The boat has a GPS system and a fishfinder to locate the fishing spots where the fish swim in schools, as well as life jackets, fire extinguishers and a first-aid kit for your safety. To provide you some protection from the sun, the boat also features a T-top.

Harry’s Guide Service fishes inshore, nearshore, reel, flats and backcountry of Texas and Louisiana Gulf waters, and is able to put you on species such as the super tasty Flounder and Redfish, Spotted Seatrout and the excellent food value Tripletail.

You will have top notch equipment in terms of rods, reels, tackle, lures and live bait all provided by Captain Harry, who will also happily clean and fillet your catch upon return to the shore. He will also have drinks and snacks aboard for refreshment, but if you are taking the full day trip it is advisable to bring your own lunch.
