Ocean Stinger Fishing Charters
Ocean Stinger Fishing Charters offers rod bending offshore adventures from the scenic Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina. Whether it’s a ‘Wicked Tuna’-style pursuit after Bluefin Tuna or a Gulfstream adventure, Captain Jesse Gawlik has you covered!
Your trip will be held within the smooth lines of a 40 ft Luhrs sportfishing boat. Powered by a Brand New 2017 Caterpiller 7.1 engine, the boat offers a secure and fast ride to the fishing grounds, where it will use Simrad electronics to accurately pinpoint the best fishing spots in the area. With a flybridge for superior views of potential fishing areas and an enclosable cabin area, you will be comfortable and part of the action regardless of the weather conditions.
Trips run from six to twelve hours long and, depending which trip you decide to take, you could be fishing for species such as Sharks, Spanish Mackerel, Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, King Mackerel, and Marlin. Top of the range equipment is used on board, with Penn International rods and reels, Shimano rods, and Shimano Tiagra and TLD reels all part of the package. Light tackle, heavy tackle, and spinning gear are all supplied, ensuring that you always have access to the best tackle for the situation.
Charters include state and federal fishing licenses, bait, ice, and refreshments, and any fish you decide to keep will also be filleted and bagged at the end of your trip.
