Around here it’s common to go bowfishing, and that’s exactly what you’ll do. You may also bottom fish, spin or cast a popping cork, cast a popping cork for your catch. Jacob has all the bowfishing gear you need, so all you have to bring is good aim!

Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Catfish, Freshwater Drum, Flounder, Goliath Grouper, Gag Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Ray, Bonnethead Shark, Bull Shark, and whatever else takes the bait.

Any legal fish caught during the trip are yours to keep. Jacob will even clean your catch for you so it’s easy to cook. Now that’s a fresh meal! You’ll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.

Layered clothing and appropriate footwear are always encouraged (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen, no matter the weather.
