If you’re looking for a great private charter at a reasonable price, with an experienced crew who wants to catch the big fish just as much as you do, look no further.

The crew effectively trolled 8 lines at once to get us the most possible bites, letting us choose lures and color patterns. This was while the captain Tarek scoured the horizon tirelessly and trolled us over the best possible areas to get us on the fish we came to catch.

Punctual, cordial and cool, captain Tarek and his crew crush it on the water and are very personable guys. Caught my first marlin with them, an experience I will never forget.

T-Rex and his crew were kind enough to spend their thanksgiving with us and bring us on a 3 hour sunset cruise. It was my wife’s first time fishing and they taught her all the ropes. We went both bottom and deep sea fishing which resulted in catching a 100 pound marlin! The crew was fun and patient while we waited for that marlin to bite. Will definitely book again when back in Hawaii. Thank you T-Rex!

These guys are great! Can’t say enough good about this trip. Very accommodating to our needs. I told the captain to make it memorable for my daughter and he delivered with a 138lb yellow finned tuna and a 75lb blue marlin. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!? I realize we probably had a little bit of luck on our side but these guys are devoted, talented, and work very well with each other. Can’t wait to make it back to Hawaii to go fishing with these guys (and have a big tuna dinner next time)!!!!

Captain Tarek, first mate Ibraheem, and captain’s son E.B.  were really great people. Capt. got us on a fish pile with skill and some luck within 20 minutes of getting in open water. Hooked us on an Ono (wahoo) Ibraheem and E.B. helped us land every fish we brought in. Capt. Got us back on a pile to catch more fish. Great crew and willing to help you learn, understand, and guide you in your fishing goals what ever they may be. Very willing to do what ever it takes to catch some good fish with in the customers comfort level, we told the Captain do what ever we need to to land fish and they delivered. Will recommend to anyone on O’ahu going on a fishing trip.

Having a passionate young angler in the family, we have done quite a few charter fishing. The recent fishing trip with Captain Tarex has been by far the BEST trip EVER! It was the highlight of our Hawaii vacation.

Best thing #1: fishing trip customization based on our objectives. When I was looking for a charter to take our son out fishing for amazing fish in Hawaii, I came across the Ultimate Boat Adventure and was drawn by the positive reviews, the beautiful fish landed, and the smiles of the previous customers! Not to mention the unbelievably reasonable prices in comparison to other companies. Soon after completing the booking, I received the Captain’s warm welcome message and inquiries about our fishing objectives. Well, our son has a very ambitious list of fish that he wants to catch. Captain communicated with me about his careful plan based on the list and weather and assured us that it was going to be a super fun day.

Best thing #2: super educational fishing adventure. Following the captain’s directions, we had no problem finding the pier and met him and first mate Ibrahim around 5:30 AM. The charter was very clean and comfortable. Captain brought a variety of fishing gear, including the largest reel ever made so that our passionate angler would get to see the amazing fishing equipment. My son learned so much about fishing and fish that he would not be able to learn from books or videos, and so did we. Both of them gave our son many fishing clinics about fishing gear, fishing techniques, fish habits and biology, water conditions and weather, Hawaii and so much more! He made sure my son understood all the things they did.  My son was asked to choose lures from an amazing collection of lures. Both of them are natural educators and explained things in a clear and fun way! What a unique and thoughtful team! My son left with so much more knowledge about fishing and fish, an appreciation of mother nature, and an even stronger passion for fishing.

Best thing #3: super productive trip! Believe it or not, we caught almost all of the fish that were on my son’s wish list!!! Captain Tarex knows where and how to catch those amazing fish! We started the day with nearshore bait fishing. My son immediately got two! It was the best way to start the fishing trip! Then not too long later, surprises came after surprises! We were told by others that winter is not the best season for Mahi Mahi. However, the first fish caught was a solid Mahi Mahi! Ibrahim helped my son to sit comfortably and guided him to reel in the fish. It took my son more than 4 minutes to bring the fish on board! Then fish kept us busy. The second fish was the nice yellow-fin tuna and then a blue-fin tuna. They were all so amazing and the excitement was simply indescribable! Captain Tarex taught us how to use birds and buoys to find fish and we indeed found schools of tuna! So many of them were biting and at some points, all three of us were reeling in fish at the same time. It was simply thrilling. Three more Mahi Mahi were caught as well as three tuna in total! There was even a marlin following us. It was absolutely mind-blowing!

Best thing #4: Many fish species. The weather was beautiful that day with little wind. Six hours into the trip, the captain suggested fishing for other species so that our son would get to meet more amazing fish friends. He patiently explained the fishing technique of the famous barracuda. It was so very special and interesting. Our son has read a lot about barracuda and it is one of his dream fish. After some time of trolling, fish on! And it was a barracuda! What a fight to bring it in! It was a dream come true moment! Captain Tarex was even able to add bottom fishing towards the end of the adventure. We happily got two more species: triggerfish and saltwater gar!

Best thing #5: personal trip. Captain Tarex and first mate Ibrahim made the trip so memorable. We had many fun conversations about everything. Meeting great people and sharing our life experiences truly enriched the fishing adventure. We are so grateful for their effort, thoughtfulness, care, and expertise to make the fishing trip the best of best of our vacation. The team is so very professional and genuine.

The boat is equipped with everything one needs and is super comfortable to sit on those cushions. Sailing was smooth and enjoyable. Even my husband who usually gets seasick had no discomfort at all and was able to fully enjoy the trip.

We cannot wait to go fishing with the team when we come back to Hawaii next time!
