Captain Eric was a blast ! He is a life long fisherman and really knows how and where to find fish! I got this trip for my husband and was worried how it would be- Eric knew where to go and out of which area. One spot was slow and he did not waste one second moving to another area where we couldn’t even keep our lines in the water - lots of doubles, big fish and I hooked a pike !  When we got back he filleted our 50 perch before he was out again ! GREAT trip, great Captain- book now because he is BUSY ! We will be going out again !!!!

Eric is very knowledgeable & a great guy to fish with. It was a tough bite, but we managed to limit out with good sized walleyes due to his experience. I (Lanny) fought a giant sturgeon for about 30 minutes, it ended up bending the hook, but it was still an experience I’ll never forget. Eric figured that fish was over 6 ft, first time a fish ever made my arms ache. My brother & I had a great day. Thank you, Eric. Book with Get Hooked, you won’t be sorry.

For starters, Captain Eric’s boat was very clean and organized, and safe. He showed us where every emergency item was before we left.
Captain Eric was very passionate through the charter experience and helped us catch many types of fish through different parts of the lake. He’s helpful wether you are an experience fisher, or never held a fishing rod before. Captain Eric reset our bait every catch and instructed us what do to.
We were all very impressed with not only the passion from Captain Eric through out the trip but the joy he had from every fish we caught. Captain Eric took photographs for us so we could hold the fish and have fun.
I was also very happy that Captain Eric talked with us throughout the trip and got to know every passenger on board his vessel, it made time fly between bites on the rod.
Lastly, Captain Eric took every opportunity he could to help us catch fish and he sliced and dice the fish after so we could keep and cook them after!

Had a Wonderful half day morning trip with my 12 y/o son with Capt. Eric. Fish were picky and not biting but that didn’t stop Eric from working hard for us to get 15-20 fish in the boat by days end. Eric is a local guy who knows the lake and where to find them even when the fish are being picky. He has plenty of gear and was working hard changing bait/tackle to find what would work best for us and he wasnt afraid to burn some fuel for us to move around the lake. We eventually found em and had a great day. Eric has great personality and patience especially with kids, never losing patience with a tangled or broken line. He has plenty of gear, get a broken/tangled line he gives you a new pole and your back to fishing with no down time and even offers up some great advice or tips. Wouldn’t hesitate at all to use Captain Eric again on beautiful lake St Clair.
