Brannin Charters, LLC Inshore Fishing
Brannin Charters is a top-class inshore fishing outfit in Wilmington, NC. We offer an exciting experience to catch redfish, flounder, trout, black drum, etc. on the Wilmington inshore coastline. We specialize in catching inshore fish using various techniques. We are skilled at anything from bait fishing to pushing through the flats and sight fishing red drum on the fly. Captain Michael Brannin is an experienced and very skilled captain. He caters his trips to fit your needs as his goal is to give you a great fishing trip and experience. Most charters will be ran out of the Fort Fisher boat ramp located in Kure Beach, NC. However, Brannin Charters also serves Wrightsville, Oak Island, Southport, Bald Head Island, and Carolina Beach.
All fishing licenses will be provided, along with bait, tackle, rods, and anything else needed for the trip. The only thing you will need is sunscreen, food, and drinks. We use the best quality rods, including both Penn and Okuma fishing set-ups. Fly rods and fly tackle will also be provided for fly fishing trips.
Charters are operated on a 2010 18ft East Cape Lostmen. The boat is outfitted with all the necessary gear to make for a great fishing experience. The boat has a Minn Kota trolling motor, twin power poles, trim tabs for a smooth ride, livewell, plenty of storage, back standing platform, and a jackplate allowing to fish areas many other boats cannot get to. The East Cape Lostmen has a true draft of 4.5-6 inches fully loaded down. This gives a great advantage to being able to catch tailing redfish and still being able to fish bigger water for different species of fish. The boat is also outfitted with a standing platform on the bow, giving anglers an advantage of seeing fish easier and earlier.
On days of the charter, please be at the ramp on time. I will have the boat fully prepared and, in the water, ready to go. Book a trip today and let’s get out there and get on some fish in the backwaters of Wilmington, NC.
