FloAlong Charters is located in Key West and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Captain Spencer Curry has over 30 years of experience fishing and boating the Lower Florida Keys. He was born and raised in Key West and is a 5th-generation Conch. The captain has spent his entire life exploring the waters around his hometown. He now runs a Pathfinder boat with a full tower and focuses on inshore and nearshore fishing.
Fishing in Key West provides you with a wide variety of places to go and fish to catch. You can fish the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean all in one trip. Some of the species you will target include Tarpon, Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Permit, and more. The techniques you can expect to use are light tackle, bottom fishing, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 25’ Pathfinder Hybrid boat. Although it can accommodate up to 6 anglers, the captain recommends no more than 4 on most fishing trips. If you have a question, contact him and you can discuss. The boat comes with an ice-box and a wireless trolling motor.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
