Spencer was awesome!  Communication was top notch.  Spoke briefly the night before to make sure the trip was setup properly and make sure everything was ready for the AM.  The boat was well maintained and clean.  For gear, he runs all Shimano Saragosa reels and custom rods, with a St.Croix and Shimano light tackle rod mixed in.  The day was definitely not ideal with high whipping winds, but Spencer was able to navigate this to make it as enjoyable as possible.  We wanted to get into tarpons and he did not disappoint.  Hooked up 3 and landed 2 to the boat! To mix it up some, we were also able to catch some snappers for lunch.  Will definitely book him again next time we’re down in the Keys!

Spencer did a great job finding us a sheltered spot out of the wind to catch fish.  We took a shot at some tarpon even though it was a little early for them.  The family had a ball catching back country sharks and snappers.  I highly recommend Spencer for Tarpon specialists and families alike.

Wow.. what a great half day charter! Captain Spencer is your guy for an unforgettable experience. We wanted some good fishing as well as some sight seeing and general cruising for my wife and I to enjoy. It was just the two of us along for the trip. We are not expert fisherman. He exceeded our expectation on all fronts We caught a variety of species, explored beautiful areas, and even had time to stop off at a little sandy beach area. We couldn’t believe the amount we were able to pack into such a short amount of time. We even caught a shark! The boat is well maintained and we felt 100% safe the entire trip. You really don’t need to look further, you will not find a better charter in Key West. We hope to do this all again someday soon!

Awesome time with Capt. Spencer. Boat was in tip top shape and VERY Clean. Capt Spencer was great even before we got on the boat. Capt. Spencer had everything ready to go and had a game plan set up before we left the harbor. A week before the trip he had reached and communicated everything necessary for the trip and was flexible when working with us. We set out to target big species and our goal was accomplished along with making every cast count. It’s not only about catching fish it’s about learning new techniques and enjoying the experience along the way. We enjoyed the captains knowledge along with expertise to guide us to what he knows best. Would highly recommend him as a personal guide and remember you are booking a fishing trip and whatever you want you can tell him and he will have answers on how to approach it! When we return to the keys Capt. Spencer Curry will be 1st on our list. Stand up guy with a great background! We will be back.

Capt. Spencer was kind, attentive, and patient. We traveled to Key West for my son’s birthday and the charter was a huge part of our trip. Capt. Spencer made sure it was a big success. Catching two huge sharks is something my son will never forget. Definitely recommend.
