Spoke with Capt. Dan and told him I wanted to catch Sheephead. I booked 2 trips a few days apart while visiting from the East coast. We caught 20 on the first trip and 16 on the second trip. As an experienced fisherman and a boat owner myself, I know that it can be hard to target just one specie but Dan came through and my daughter and I had 2 great trips. We also caught White fish, Calico bass, Perch and few other fish. Dan helped my daughter tying rigs and removing fish as well as having great conversation and not having any awkward moments.

Took my son out for his 16th birthday. Had a great time. We were able to move around and hit some different spots and use a couple of different techniques and catch some fun fish. The boat was comfortable and had everything we needed for a successful fishing adventure. Dan is a great captain and communicated weeks, days and even hours before the trip to make sure everything went as smooth as possible. Captain Dan excelled at finding the fish! We caught 16 fish of 7 different species! He’s also very personable and cut up our fish once on land so we could make fresh caught ceviche. He’s really nice and careful with the fishing rules. Overall a good experience, five stars!

Captain Dan was wonderful with our family. We took our 5 year old along and Dan was kind and patient with him. He was a great teacher and we were very successful in catching five different types of fish. The boat was perfect for our family. Captain Dan was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun. He helped our son reel fish in while giving my husband and I tips along the way. My husband and both agreed it was one of the best experiences of our lives!

When we go back to San Diego again, we will certainly book fishing time with Captain Dan.
