Captain Bobby got his captain’s license at 18 and has fished Destin’s waters since. Over the last few years, he has worked as a "for hire" captain running under another owner. After years of dedication and hard work he has pursued his dream and started his own charter company. Lonestar Fishing Charters is just what you need for a great day on the water. Come join Captain Bobby Marek in Destin, Florida and embark on a fun and productive fishing trip. Captain Bobby can take you nearshore, offshore, to reefs, and to wrecks. Your trip will take place on a 32’ Cape Horn center console that runs on twin 300 HP Mercury engines and uses all the best Garmin GPS, fishfinder, and radar navigation technology, as well as a VHF radio. The boat can fit up to 6 guests and features a multimedia system. As for the fishing gear, it’s got a livewell, outriggers, and downriggers. A first mate will also come aboard per request.

The species you can catch include Grouper, Snapper, Mackerel, Gray Triggerfish, Amberjack, Cobia, as well as Bull Shark. Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, jig, pop, spin, and troll. You can keep the fish you catch and kids over 6 are free to join the trip.

Captain Bobby takes care of the fishing gear, lures, catch cleaning, as well as fishing licenses. Before you start the trip, make sure to bring some snacks and drinks.

Four or less people recommended per charter, we can take up to 6, $100 per head over 4 people. Children are welcome on the charters. Tips rates are customary at 20-25%. We will either catch live bait or you have the option to purchase when available.
