Troy’s Guide Service welcomes you to Kingston, Oklahoma, and invites you on a fishing trip on Lake Texoma. You’ll have all the needed help from a skilled and friendly captain who’ll take you to the fish and do his best to make your trip enjoyable and successful.

You’ll be using a 24’ Blazer Bay (center console), a boat that can fish up to 8 people comfortably and safely. If needed, the captain can arrange for more boats. Your boat is powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, uses quality navigation technology, and is wheelchair-accessible. Equipped with a trolling motor and a bait well.

You’ll fish Lake Texoma for Striper, Sand Bass, Smallmouth, Catfish, and Crappie.The captain uses both lures or live bait, just tell him what your preferences are. While the captain provides a clean and drug, alcohol, and smoke-free vessel, you’re free to do whatever you’d like to make your trip better.

The captain also supplies all the bait and equipment, so all you need to bring is your snacks, drinks, and a Lake Texoma fishing license. Your catch will be cleaned and bagged as well, devoid of red meat.

Climb aboard as we spend the day striper and catfishing using techniques such as “live bait fishing,casting lures, deadsticking, and drift fishing”. We will also catfish by running pre placed juglines that I have set several hours before the morning of your trip. We will typically spend 4-6 hours on the water and the weather ezpected for this trip is COLD ! Lots of BIG fish to be had this time of year !!

My name is Troy Ellefson II. I was born in Texas and moved to Iowa for 8 years before moving to Oklahoma. I grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma, and graduated from there. I’m married with two kids. I have plenty of experience and patience fishing with small children. My boat is handicap friendly, and I can make accommodations for almost anything you can think of. I can handle large groups with advance notice and can provide lodging from a myriad of places as well. I am an Army Veteran (8 years, honorable), spent 4 years as a volunteer firefighter, and run a very small welding business/weld for my FIL as well. I have worked in sales, construction, oilfield, and now the outdoor industry. I hold and maintain current CPR, first aid, and other ems/fire certifications. I carry a current TWIC CARD (clean federal background check), commercial marine insurance, and boaters education, and I run a safe, clean vessel. Hunting and fishing is my passion. I would much rather be in the woods or on the water than anywhere else. Once you step into my boat, you’ll find that my attitude and my equipment reflect that. I’m fishing out of a 2020 Blazer Bay 2400 (24’ forward CC) with a 300 Yamaha outboard. I can comfortably fish six people and can accommodate up to 8 if need be. I keep all my equipment cleaned and well-maintained. I am fully licensed and commercially insured. I can fish lures and live bait. During the months of March to November, I will usually have some form of bait in the boat. Please tell me when booking if you have a certain way you want to fish (bait, topwater, slabs, a-rigs, etc). I can teach you to catch at the very least one fish on my trips utilizing a myriad of techniques and methods.

Troy blew our expectations out of the water, he is very knowledgeable and an outstanding guide! This was the best Guide experience I’ve had! The fishing trip was good the Booking was So, So… The guide was double/triple booked so other boats had to be brought in. We did not fish with Troy but with Russell. He did a good job and was good with our 6 year old. We really wanted to fish with Troy but FishingBooker’s complicated the matter. I you book with FishingBooker I would call the guide right away and verify the booking. I would have cancelled but how do you cancel a planned trip with your 6 year old. Luckly Troy... Mehr

Troy is a very experienced and personable guide. His equipment and boat are well maintained and very organized. I couldn’t be happier with the fishing experience he provided. I am, however, upset with Fishing Booker for advertising hud trip as only $200,which I paid to you online, and then had to pay Troy the rest of his fee after the trip when I thought it was paid in full.
