This trip was amazing. It was just my son and I. Captain Tim was incredible. Capt. Tim maintained communication with me the week leading up to the trip. The evening prior he called me with news of poor weather coming in and was ready and willing to do whatever he had to in order to still make our trip happen while we were still in the area. Fortunately we were still able to go out as scheduled. Capt. Tim was so patient and so enjoyable to be around the entire trip. You can really tell when someone does a job to make money versus someone who loves every second of what they do and you can right away tell that Capt. Tim loves what he does! He put us onto so many fish even after we hit our legal limit. We pulled up multiple species in the Gulf and he took the time to tell us about each and every one of them. He was very careful to measure every fish to ensure we abided by all fish and wildlife rules and regulations. If you want the best bang for your buck, you have to go through St. Andrew Charter Company and head out to the fishing battlegrounds with Captain Tim Hanna!

Captain Tim is a knowledgeable fisherman with a great boat & equipment and good music (country).  We caught Amberjack, Bonita, and a Red Snapper.  However, the big catch came at the end, a 200lb+ Goliath Grouper.  We landed this after about 4-5 tries (having 100lb test line snapped the first time, stealing the bait a time of two and/or dropping the bait fish).  Per tradition and the captain taking the lead, we all jumped in the ocean to have our picture taken with the giant.  What a great experience—albeit unexpected!

Capt Tim was quick to respond before booking.  Gave us detailed directions on where to meet.  He had us on fish immediately after leaving marina.  Eventhough it was a windy day, he made the most of it.  We caught well over 20 fish in our short morning trip.  Upon his suggestion we had the fished cleaned just in time for Hunt’s Oyster Bar to cook them up just a few blocks away for lunch.  Highly recommend Tim and his service.  Boat and equipment were flawless. Highly recommend and will definitely use him again.

Captain Tim was awesome, trolled out of the bay with no hit so we went to bottom fish. First spot he put us on the fish, caught a few nice red snapper and then hooked an 8ft shark so that killed the bite. Moved to another spot and caught a couple of small snapper. Moved to another spot and hooked up on some nice snapper and hit our limit. Went to one last spot and hooked some nice amberjack. Definitely recommend Captain Tim!!!!
