Enjoy an unforgettable fishing experience with Eyehooker Sportfishing on Lake Erie! Come to the Walleye capital of the world and fish side by side with a knowledgeable guide. Captain Bill has been a licensed fishing guide on these waters for over 20 years and loves to share his tricks. There are no hired captains and you can always count on going on a trip with him. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasonal angler, there’s a spot for you on his boat.

The boat is a custom 32’ Island Hopper that accommodates up to 6 guests. This vessel has a 12’ beam and it’s powered by a 600 HP Cummins engine. Besides modern navigational electronics, a private bathroom, and lots of seating space in the shade, the boat is also wheelchair accessible. Capt. Bill doesn’t spare anything to make sure his boat is equipped and well maintained.

All trips start at Anchors Away Marina in Marblehead and they are available from April till November. At the beginning of the season, you’ll visit the spots west of the Lake Erie Islands, while in the summer the best spots are in Northern Ohio and Southern Ontario waters. Towards the end of the season, you’ll go to Vermillion and Lorain area.

Besides Walleye, you can also catch Steelhead, Smallmouth Bass and Yellow Perch. Both drifting and trolling are an option, depending on your skills and preferences.

All fishing equipment is covered. You need to cover your fishing licenses and pack some snacks and drinks for the day.

    This trip includes all rods, reels and bait required to troll or cast. Bring your fishing license, food, and drinks. Fish cleaning is available when you return to the dock. Target Walleye in the comfort of a large protected modern pilot house boat while rods are bending. A fuel surcharge will apply if we travel beyond 10 miles. The captain will provide the crew with a recommendation for travel and the final decision will be made by the customer for extended travel.

    This trip is scheduled as an afternoon trip to leave the dock at 2:30 p.m. but may be available sooner if the captain doesn't have a morning trip or they return from the am trip early. All fishing equipment is included in the price. Captain Bill will travel wherever necessary to put you on the fish. We typically don't travel beyond 10 miles offshore but when necessary a nominal fuel surcharge will apply. However the final decision for extended travel is up to the customer..
