As a person who fishes regularly I know very well the ups and downs of fishing and the absolute zero guarantee you will catch any fish on any given day. As we know it’s called fishing not catching.

With that being said I booked with epi after looking thru different profiles. Felt good about his profile and contacted him for booking. He answered as quick as you could possibly want. Everything I asked he had a well prepared answer, And so I booked an 8hr trip for me and my friend.

From start to finish it was an amazing trip!! Hoped on the boat at 7 and by 845 am we already had 2 Bonito on the boat. Slowed down for about 2 hours as fishing tends to do. 1045am hit and chaos broke loose. We had double hook ups triple hooks ups. We couldn’t catch fish fast enough. For a good 2 hour stretch we caught 15 Bonito, 1 skip jack tuna, and one trophy Spanish makrel.

I couldn’t be more pleased with captain chuy and his mate chorizine!! They did an amazing job of setting the day to be a massive success!! Captain chuy with his knowledge of the ocean and chorizine preparing all the equipment and getting the lines in the water quick and with purpose. This duo was amazing!!!

They also prepared fresh shashimi on the boat with some of the catch!!! Had always been a dream of mine and it happend on this day.

The reality is I will be back to Puerto vallarta as it is my favorite Mexico destination. And under no circumstance will I not be booking with epi fishing and absolutely requesting the duo of captain chuy and first mate chorizine!! Thank you guys so much for such and amazing experience!! You guys took my vacation to another level and gave me life long memories I will never forget!!

If you’re looking to get on fish these guys know what they’re doing. This family owned operation is dedicated to making the best experience possible for their anglers. I never felt like there were any suprises and Epi was highly communicative during the booking process and answered all questions I had prior to our trip. It’s easy to say it went great when you catch fish, which we did (5) on an 8 hr trip. I the reason we did well was the deck hand and Captian (brothers in our case) worked hard together keeping fresh bait out and and ensuring gear was working. During our trip I was these guys change up presentation several times and we covered a ton of water to find big game fish.  All of a sudden we had 5 fish hook up at about the time. We successfully landed 3 of those 5 which had a lot to do with our crew. We landed two more later. They cleaned our fish for us and were just fun to be with. I highly recommend this trip if you are dedicated to fishing.

Farther and son were exceptional guides! We (4 of us) got into fish right away and scored a 36 pound Mahi Mahi, a 14 pound Mahi Mahi and numerous tuna. Epi’s son prepared delicious ceviche with the tuna. We saw a mama whale with her baby and a large sea turtle as a bonus!!
We took half the larger MM to a local restaurant and enjoyed a magnificent lunch. We plan on returning and will ask Epi to take us snorkeling and exploring his neck of the woods.
We highly recommend this duo to get you into some great fish! You won’t be disappointed.

The trip was great !. We had a 6 hour trip and caught two good size Spanish Mackerels and about 5 cookies in the first hour. The crew made a great Ceviche with the Mackeral. Later in the trip we hooked an about 18 kilo Jack Crevalle. It was about a 30-40 minute fight. I did not realize what a great sport fish a Jack Crevalle is. The crew was very helpful, and informative ,baiting different rods with lures and live bait, encouraging us the whole trip. We will definitely use the again , hopefully soon.

We hired Epi Charters for our first fishing trip in PV. Without a doubt this trip was everything we could have hoped for. The boat captain and deckhand got us on the fish the moment we started to fish. We started with a quadruple header of Mahi Mahi. Once we limited out of those, the captain said it’s time to find a sail. Well, within 10 minutes of fishing for a sailfish….I was playing one! From start to finish, the day was incredible…. Highly recommend getting yourself on one of their boats!
