Eric is a great guide who works real hard to put you on the fish. We booked two 6 hour trips. The first morning the conditions were ideal but the fish didn’t bite until the last hour. I caught the fish of a lifetime. A 32-33 inch long Waleye. We weren’t able to certify it though. “Pictures are worth a thousand words”. Next trip weather was colder. Fish bit real well in the cold morning but shut down when the weather warmed up. You just don’t know until you go, but with two trips you won’t go wrong. I took my two sons (17 and 6) for a half day trip with Eric for an early Christmas gift. We had so much fun. Eric was amazing. If you are looking for a knowledgeable guide that is great with kids, look no further. He even had extra gear for us because it was pretty cold when we got started. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did as I truly have no interest in fishing and did this just for boys, but I had a great time too! Eric did all the hard work while we just got to keep catching fish! I think between the 3 of us, we caught 15 trout that morning. My boys will be talking about this trip for years to come and I hope to someday come back and do it again with my entire family.

I booked this trip with CPT Eric for my two sons, as a birthday gift. They just got home from their trip and, had the biggest smiles showing me all the big bass pictures of what they had caught today. Priceless! =D They said they had a blast, learned some new fishing techniques, and would definitely do it again. This was our first time here at Table Rock Lake, could not have had a better experience. Eric was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable, supportive, great sense of humor, and made this such a fun memorable time with my daughter and her grandfather. We did a 4 hour fishing boat trip and we caught 26 fish all together!! This is 1000% a trip I will be booking and doing again with Eric! His boat was very nice with a cooler, so no need to bring an extra one unless you absolutely need to. He also supplied water! Communication with Eric about meet up and where to go was super easy with quick replies and good details. He supplied the fishing poles, bait, fishing nets, all of the things needed! I would absolutely recommend him!
